The "CYANO" UR is founded on a main site, situated in New-Caledonia, where the picocyanobacteria and the Trichodesmium are aboundants and on secondary sites, which will be visited during missions from the main site or from the UR metropolitan base,  the "Centre Océanologique de Marseille" (COM).
