Tuanake

Tuanake, a small atoll to the west of the Central Tuamotu islands, is situated 16°41' south and 144°14' west,  20 km south-west of Makemo.

This is a circular atoll  7 km in diameter with a natural channel in the south: it  was discovered by  Fabian Bellinghausen in 1820
