Toau (île Elisabeth)

Toau, which is one of the Western Tuamotu islands, is situated 15°49' south and 146° west, and was discovered by James Cook in 1773. 

In 1983, it had only 5 inhabitants.

Its coconut grove is intensively farmed by the inhabitants of Fakarava.
