The taxonomic pattern on Takapoto

The number os individuals of the various species forming the meso-zooplankton are given in the accompanying tables. The copepoda Paracalanus parvus ar by far the largest component of the biomass: 1157 ± 129 individuals were counted  m-3. Chaetognatha of the species Sagita enflata were observed, numbering 16.4 ± 3.5 individuals m-3.  Gasteropod larvae were abundant: 52 ± 13 individuals m-3.
